20210104 Good morning and Happy New Year, future P. If I were to paste in the first journal entry from 2020, even you wouldn't notice any difference. All in all, it's been a truly shitty year. In two months, I turn 26. Officially, more than a quarter of my life is over. What's left? What's the first thing that comes to mind when you look back? I have to work in an hour. I woke up at 7:10: breakfast, a shower, and two cigarettes. I think I'll smoke a third one, actually. At 6 PM, I need to catch up on my workouts. Tomorrow, a strict 6 AM wake-up call. If I train around 6:20, I'll be done in an hour and still have time to get to work or catch the train. This year has taken everything from me. I have no social interactions anymore; I feel like an outcast. Maybe I was one before, too, but at least it wasn't so obvious. The cat is in heat; I can't stand it anymore. Is this really how it ends? Writing about the cat in these notes?
